I haven't had a video and style post combo in a little while, and I am excited about bringing it back!!! In this post I put a few looks together combining different tones and textures with black and white. Both black and white are very easy to pair different colors and textures with, so don't be afraid to play around and see what you can come up with.
Check out what I put together and take a look at the look book video posted at the end.
I decided to keep this look simple and add a colored shoe. I feel like wearing black and white all the time by itself is a little boring, so adding some kind of color somewhere brings a little more fun to a look.
I wear accessories all of the time, but I feel like I never really share my pieces at all (my bad). I will not leave y'all hanging any longer!!

I'm that girl that will wear a bright lip color when I feel like my look is kind of plain!! My standard of plain may be different than yours, but you get what I'm saying right? Spicing up a make up look can add a lot to an outfit. This coral red orange color is one of my favorites to wear during the summer!!

I have been obsessed with velvet this year!!! I just can't get enough of it!!! It's always fun to mix textures like I did with this look. The pants are more of a linen, and because it has a subtle pattern it works well with the rust color tank. when mixing patterns and textures it's always good to think about what you want to stand out more and play off of that. If you have a bright top... do a plain bottom or vice versa. But, at the same time you can go all out and be bold on the top and the bottom... if that's your thing!! dressing up is fun, so don't be afraid to try something different!!
